Can I apply for a loan if I have not yet found a house?

We always recommend that you arrange to have your home loan prepapproved before making an offer on a property. There is no cost involved to have your borrowing capacity confirmed in writing and it will provide you with confidence when you shop for your new home knowing you have your finance approved in principle. It also speeds up the formal loan approval process. Real estate agents are more likely to write up an offer if you make them aware you have your home loan preapproved.

How much does it cost to use a mortgage broker?

Our service is free of charge as we are paid a commission from the lender after your loan settles.

Why would I use a broker when I can deal directly with my bank?

By going to a bank you will never really know if you got the best deal as they will only offer you one product. When you use a broker they provide you with a choice of options that include the most competitive loans available in the market. The best deal today may not be the best deal tomorrow. We receive daily updates from all the lenders notifying us of special deals, market updates and credit policy changes so we are well placed to provide you with professional up to date advice.

We also take care of all the paper work and liaise with your real estate and settlement agent to ensure your settlement occurs on time. Dealing with a broker saves your both time and money plus your broker will meet with you at a time and place convenient to you.
